ISTD Tap

We run ISTD Syllabus based classes for Tap. We offer classes to 4-16 year olds, each class works towards an exam taken every 12-18 months. 

Tap is one of the most iconic forms of dance. Starting from the back streets of New Orleans to the stars of the screen, Tap Dancing is a treat to be a part of - percussive and very expressive for the dancer. In our Tap classes, you will learn all of the essential rhythms and steps to prepare for all exams. 

 

Uniform:
Primary Classes to Grade 3 classes wear a black leotard with a red velvet front, black Lycra leggings, black socks and black tap shoes

Grade 4 and above wear a black leotard with a red velvet front with black trousers, black socks and black tap shoes.

​ No Jewellery and hair in a bun or out of your face.
