Contemporary Dance is a fusion of a few styles of dance such as modern, lyrical and ballet. At RB Arts Academy we offer NATD contemporary syllabus. In class we work on our creative skills within dance as well as focusing on our core and control.

We have classes for 4-16 years and they are graded syllabus lessons. In Contemporary we use traditional techniques with a mix of modern styles. It's fun to learn and fun to dance. The lessons encourage choreography and improvisation. Throughout class some students will be invited to join our Competition dance team for either Juniors or Seniors who will then compete in local competitions and festivals. 
 

Uniform:

Uniform is black footless tights or leggings, black leotard and foot supports can also be worn. And hair to be up and out of your face. No jeans or Jewellery.
